A little about us

Village Square Electric Inc. is a fully licensed, insured and bonded company that believes in the simple fact that without good customer satisfaction there is no reason to work. Capable of doing any job - big or small - we have the knowledge and power to create the electrical solution to fit our customers' needs. With our “warehouse on wheels” we offer a full line of services and work with our customers on a timely fashion.

How we started

First started in 1981 as Steve & Sons Electric after Steven Holdefer left his job at Butternut Bread as Electrical Plant engineer, Steve later changed the name in 1984 to the current Village Square Electric, Inc., which he currently runs as president alongside his wife, Mary, who resides as vice-president and acting financial officer.

In early 2002 Steve's son, Stevyn began his apprenticeship, learning the skills of the trade under the watchful eye of his father. Stevyn has since become a full journeyman within the company and takes on the bulk of the day-to-day operations and workload.

Steve's third eldest son, Kenyth joined the company as an apprentice in the summer of 2008, where much like his older brother has been refining his abilities under the watchful eye of both his father and sibling.
